The Park Sloper is a neighbor-run guide to Park Slope, and I'm its founding editor. I started it because finding a trustworthy local plumber, electrician, or contractor here shouldn't mean wading through fake Yelp reviews and national lead-gen sites. I live in the neighborhood, a father and husband raising a family a few blocks from the park. Every guide we publish cross-references what neighbors actually say against public licensing records, and nothing in an editorial pick is for sale.
